Bro. Roger J. Roth served in the United States Navy as Gunner during the end of the Vietnam Era at which point God began to deal with him about eternity. Got involved in the Apostolic Faith being baptized in water and with the Holy Ghost in early 1980 in Bremerton, WA. Began serving the Lord and His people as head usher in that church, later as Sunday School teacher, assistant Pastor and then as a Home Missionary in Gig Harbor, WA. He has served on WA Dist. Youth Committee, Home Missions Secretary and Men’s’ Ministry Director as well as being Head Usher for all major district events. He and his wife of more than 30 years have five children, two foster daughters, and fifteen grandchildren. He is in his last semester of a degree in Human Development and will begin his Master’s program in January of 2017.

Secular work has included 12 years as a Ship-fitter and five years as a Nuclear and Radiological work procedure instructor at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, WA; Funeral Director and Mortician for 17 years, and holds a Master Chaplain credential with the International Conference of Police Chaplains and has served as Chaplain for Gig Harbor PD for 15 years. His background has included counseling people through the loss of loved ones, Peer support and Critical Incident Stress Management (law enforcement training), as well as debriefing officers and citizens after a critical incident, and he has officiated more than 700 memorial/committal services.
