Founding Pastor of Bridgeport Apostolic Church. I was raised in an Episcopal Church. After joining the army in 1957 I became interested in more of God and began to listen to the witnessing of an army buddy. I received the Holy Ghost in an army barracks in Nuremburg, Germany. After finishing my tour of duty I came home to Albany, New York. In 1961 I was introduced to baptism in Jesus Name and I was baptized. I became a member of Apostolic Pentecostal Church pastored by S.R. Hanby. Feeling a call to start a church, my pastor encouraged me to go to Troy, NY. It was in Troy where we began our first Home Missions church.
I have over 37 years experience pastoring. I have been a student of the Bible for 49 years and I have continuously taken courses to further my knowledge. I have taken Excell Bible School courses and Apostolic Leadership Bible training sponsored by the CT District. During my time as pastor in Connecticut I took a Clinical Pastoral Education course with Bridgeport Hospital. I became a certified CPE counselor.
My experience on the District level is as follows:
• District Board Presbyter 3 years
• Foreign Mission Director for district 2 years
My wife and I have been happily married for 45 years. We have two wonderful children, both married, and five grandchildren.
