A boomer, born and raised in the home of a California pastor, Jana Allard fully understands the various roles of ministry. She attended schools in her hometown of Delano and Bakersfield College studying Psychology/Child Development. In 1979, she married Rev. Brian Allard and they soon served as UPCI missionaries to Senegal, West Africa. Following their time spent in Africa, they returned to California and joined the pastoral staff of Apostolic Gospel Church of Delano in February 1982. In April of 1994, they assumed the role of senior pastor and wife to a multi-cultural congregation.
Jana’s years of experience in ministry and working with people caused her to pursue certification in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) and certification in Grief and Trauma taught by H. Norman Wright. Her life is devoted to helping others. Along with her duties as pastor’s wife, she is an author, inspirational speaker, a recording artist, Music Director and Ladies Ministries Director for Apostolic Gospel Church and inspirational speaker. In addition, Jana serves as Master Coordinator for Western District Ladies Conference, Section Two Ladies Director of WDUPC, and has served as an advisory to www.myhoperadio.com. She is mom to Bryce, Blake, and Bryn-Anika, a daughter-in-law Ashlee, and Mimi to a grandson, Lionel.
